Tasting Notes

Rosé has become a fan favorite here at Nottingham Cellars, and the 2017 delivers all things we love. High tuned with racy acidity, this Rosé is a blend of primarily whole cluster press Merlot and small portions of saignee Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The whole cluster press Merlot is picked at very low brix and high tuned acidity to create the framework for this wine. The saignee components are bled off right at the time of destremming the reds to drive riper, melon driven fruit flavors that help drive a smooth finish. The perfect summertime sipper our on the patio with friends, but a very versatile wine that will pair perfectly with anything from ceviche, seafood to Thai or Thanksgiving dinner.
